Week 2: AAC Men's Basketball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Armando Cuardado of Tennessee Wesleyan and RJ Manginello of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the second edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Nov. 24.
AAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Armandado Cuardado - Tennessee Wesleyan - Sophomore
- Averaged a double-double for the week with 13.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game as Tennessee Wesleyan went 2-0.
- Posted 20 points and 14 rebounds in a 79-77 win over Reinhardt.
- Collected 17 defensive rebounds and 4 blocks on the week.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
RJ Manginello - Montreat - Junior
- Averaged 25.0 points and 6.0 assists over 2 games.
- Scored 27 points in an 82-81 loss at Union Commonwealth.
- Also had 12 assists, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals on the week.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
