Week 5: AAC Men's Basketball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Derrick Brown of Reinhardt and Bradley Bunch of Pikeville are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Dec. 15.
AAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Derrick Brown - Reinhardt - Senior
- Pulled down 24 defensive rebounds, stole 6 balls, and blocked 3 shots during 3 games last week.
- Helped Reinhard to a 3-0 record.
- Averaged 13.7 points and 11.0 rebounds per game.
- Had 1 double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds in a 67-61 win at Bryan.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Bradley Bunch - Pikeville - Senior
- Scored 23 points in an 85-70 win at Spartanburg Methodist.
- Pulled down 4 offensive rebounds and finished with 6 total boards.
- Added 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
