Week 6: AAC Men's Basketball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Kole Torres of Bryan and Aden Taylor of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the sixth edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 5.
AAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Kole Torres - Bryan - Senior
- Pulled down 13 defensive rebounds, stole 4 balls, and blocked 1 shot as Bryan went 2-0.
- Averaged 11.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
- Also dished out 9 assists.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Aden Taylor - Montreat - Junior
- Averaged 22.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in helping Montreat to a 1-1 record.
- Shot 52.9 percent (9-of-17 shots) from the field and made 22-of-24 free throws (91.7 percent).
- Added 5 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
