Reinhardt Captures Men's Golf Championship; All-AAC Team, Awards Announced
ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. - With a strong showing in the second and third rounds, Reinhardt captured the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Golf Tournament championship on Tuesday.
The three-round, two-day event was held at Barnsley Inn & Golf in Adairsville, Ga.
Reinhardt sat third following the first round but shot a +8 as a team in the second round to sit atop the standings with Columbia International as both were +27 following 36 holes. The Ealges fired a +8 during the final round to win by five strokes over Columbia International.
Tennessee Wesleyan (+44) was third, while Truett McConnell (+56), and SCAD Atlanta (+58) round out the top five. Making up the rest of the field are Bluefield (+68), St. Andrews (+69), Milligan (+72), Columbia (+73), Pikeville (+79), Montreat (+99), Bryan (+102), Johnson (+144), and Union Commonwealth (+181).
Juan Dubra of SCAD Atlanta claimed medalist honors, finishing at 4-under par 212 and winning by five strokes. He was the only golfer to finish under par. Joining him on the All-Tournament Team are Luke Hammond of Columbia International, Jacob Partin of Tennessee Wesleyan, Bryson MacDonald of Columbia International, Dalton Sutton of Tennessee Wesleyan, and Trey Schmidt of Reinhardt.

The All-AAC Team and Awards were also announced. Dubra is the Player of the Year, with Schmidt earning Freshman of the Year honors.
There are five members on the first team and five more on the second team. Several earned a spot on the All-Academic Team and Champions of Character Team.
