Week 1: AAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - David Nebus of SCAD Savannah and Sebastian Manuel of SCAD Savannah are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 16.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
David Nebus - SCAD Savannah - Junior
- Led the Bees' defense which allowed only 14 total shots and 6 on goal in a 24-2 win over NCAA Division III Averett.
- The team forced 33 turnovers with 18 caused.
- Collected 2 groundballs and caused 2 turnovers.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Sebastian Manuel - SCAD Savannah - Junior
- Tallied 7 goals and 1 assist in a 24-2 win over Averett.
- Fired 9 total shots with 8 going on goal.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
