Two Individual Titles, 10 All-Americans Highlight AAC's Success at Nationals
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) teams had a successful venture at the 2026 NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championship meet.
The three-day event was held on March 5-7 in Gainesville, Fla.
Montreat collected a pair of individual national championships. Nathan Cremin set the meet record in winning the 1000 with a time of 2:22.26. Ryan Stade added a second national title for the Cavs, winning the 3000 with a time of 8:02.63.
Cremin and Stade also earned NAIA All-American honors in the distance medley relay as Montreat took fifth in the event. Joining them on the DMR team were Jordan Pippin, Hugo Petat-Hemono, and Cameron Rice.
Romeo Brown scored All-American honors for Spartanburg Methodist as he took third in the 200.
Milligan had two All-Americans as Marti Molins placed second in the 800 and Luis Peralta took third in the 600.
In the team competition, Montreat placed eighth with 25 points, Milligan was fifteenth with 14 points, and Spartanburg Methodist finished 44th with six points.
