Week 3: AAC Softball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Bailey Kiser of Spartanburg Methodist College and Rylee Walker of Truett McConnell are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the third edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 23.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
Bailey Kiser - Spartanburg Methodist - Junior
- Posted a 2-0 record in the circle for SMC.
- Allowed 1 earned run in 12 innings pitched for a 0.58 ERA.
- Struck out 20 and walked 1.
- Posted a shutout and 2 complete games
- This is her first weekly award this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Rylee Walker - Truett McConnell - Freshman
- Batted .563 in 4 games, helping Truett McConnell to a 4-0 record.
- 7 of her 9 hits went for extra bases, as she posted a 1.625 slugging percentage.
- Had 2 doubles and 5 home runs.
- Drove in 13 runs and scored 7 times.
- This is her second weekly award this season.
