Week 6: AAC Softball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Katelin Secrist of Milligan and Alana Parsons of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the sixth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 16.

AAC Pitcher of the Week
Katelin Secrist - Milligan - Senior

• Scored 3 wins and 1 save as Milligan went 4-0 on the week.
• Had 1 complete game.
• Struck out 5 batters and walked 3 in 14 1/3 innings pitched. 
• Recorded a 0.98 ERA, allowing 2 earned runs.
• This is her first weekly award this season.

AAC Player of the Week
Alana Parsons - Milligan - Senior

• Batted .846 in 4 games, helping Milligan to a 4-0 record.
• Went 11-of-13 at the plate.
• Had 1 triple and 1 home run.
• Drove in 9 runs and scored six times.
• This is her first weekly award this season.
