Week 1: AAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - De'Asia Feaster of Columbia and Rymiah Sanders of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the first edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Nov. 17.

AAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
De'Asia Feaster - Columbia - Senior

• Averaged a double-double for the week with 10.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game as Columbia went 1-1.
• Had 2 double-doubles
• Scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a 64-56 win over Point (Ga.).
• Also had 2 steals on the week.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Rymiah Sanders - Montreat - Junior

• Poured in 30 points in Montreat's 91-88 win over Carolina (S.C.).
• Shot 44 percent (11-of-25) from the field and went 8-for-10 (80 percent) at the free-throw line.
• Also had 7 rebounds and 3 assists.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.
