Week 6: AAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Zy Bell of Spartanburg Methodist College and Semaj Clark of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the sixth edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 5.
AAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Zy Bell - Spartanburg Methodist - Senior
- Collected 10 steals in helping Spartanburg Methodist go 2-0 on the week.
- Averaged 7.0 points and 4.5 rebounds.
- Had 7 defensive rebounds.
- Dished out 4 assists.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Semaj Clark - Milligan - Senior
- Averaged 22.5 points and 9.0 rebounds as Milligan went 2-0 last week.
- Poured in 31 points in an 84-73 win over Montreat.
- Shot 51.5 percent (17-of-33) from the field.
- Also had 18 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and 3 steals.
- This is her third weekly honor of the season.
