Week 6: AAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Ellen-Mary Kearney of Milligan and Madison Kitson of Brenau are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the sixth and final edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season.
AAC Track Athlete of the Week
Ellen-Mary Kearney - Milligan - Senior
- Placed second in the mile at the ASICS Sound Invite.
- Posted a time of 4:45.42, earning her an NAIA 'A' Standard.
- Ranks second-fastest in the event in the NAIA.
- This is her second weekly honor this season.
AAC Field Athletes of the Week
Madison Kitson - Brenau - Sophomore
- Recorded an NAIA 'A' Standard in the long jump, winning the event at the Bulldog Open.
- Her leap of 5.76 meters to place second behind an NCAA Division I competitor.
- This is her second weekly award this season.
