Week 1: AAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Grace Clemens of Tennessee Wesleyan and Lisa Schoen of Tennessee Wesleyan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the first edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 23.
AAC Track Athlete of the Week
Grace Clemens - Tennessee Wesleyan - Sophomore
- Won 3 events at the Cumberland Early Spring Meet.
- Posted times of 12.60 to win the 100, 26.38 to win the 200, and 49.75 to help win the 4x100 relay.
- This is her first weekly honor this season.
AAC Field Athletes of the Week
Lisa Schoen - Tennessee Wesleyan - Sophomore
- Won 2 events and placed second in another at the Cumberland Early Spring Meet.
- Won the shot put with a throw of 12.16 meters and the discus with a toss of 39.50 meters.
- Took second in the javelin with a throw of 32.27 meters.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
