Week 5: AAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Madison Kitson of Brenau and Lisa Schoen of Tennessee Wesleyan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 20.
AAC Track Athlete of the Week
Madison Kitson - Brenau - Sophomore
- Won the 400 at the Berry Field Day Invitational.
- Posted a time of 55.86 seconds, earning an NAIA 'B' Standard.
- This is her third weekly award this season.
AAC Field Athletes of the Week
Lisa Schoen - Tennessee Wesleyan - Sophomore
- Posted a pair of top 2 finishes at the Lee University Fast Break Invitational.
- Won the javelin with a toss of 39.37 meters, setting the school record.
- Placed second in the discus with a throw of 43.60 meters
- This is her second weekly award this season.
