Week 6: AAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Jenna Smith of Reinhardt is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Lanie Hawley of Pikeville and Chloie Brinton of Pikeville are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Sept. 29.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Jenna Smith - Reinhardt - Junior

• Averaged 3.67 kills per set as she had 33 in 9 sets.
• Posted a .467 hitting percentage in helping Reinhardt to 3 sweeps.
• Added 5 digs and 6 blocks.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Lanie Hawley - Pikeville - Junior

• Averaged 1.14 blocks per set.
• Collected 16 total blocks, including 11 solo blocks.
• Also had 28 kills, 2 assists, 2 aces, and 16 digs.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Chloie Brinton - Pikeville - Junior

• Averaged 9.00 assists per set.
• Had 126 assists in 14 sets.
• Had 49 assists in a 3-2 loss to Johnson.
• Recorded 3 double-doubles.
• Also had 55 digs, 5 blocks, and 3 aces.
• This is her fourth weekly honor of the season.
