Week 10: AAC Women's Volleyball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Cassidy Rivas of Pikeville is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Eledy Torres of Bluefield and Faith Wilson of Milligan are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the 10th edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Nov. 3.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Cassidy Rivas - Pikeville - Sophomore

  • Averaged 4.00 kills per set as she had 32 in 8 sets.
  • Posted a .400 hitting percentage in helping Pikeville to a 2-0 record.
  • Posted 18 kills and 4 blocks in a 3-1 win over Montreat.
  • Added 12 digs, 1 ace, and 5 blocks.
  • This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Eledy Torres - Bluefield - Senior

  • Averaged 6.00 digs per set in helping Bluefield to a 3-0 record.
  • Collected 78 digs in 13 sets.
  • Had 38 digs in a 3-2 win over Milligan.
  • Added 13 assists and 10 aces.
  • Registered a .945 serve receive percentage with 3 errors in 55 receptions.
  • This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Faith Wilson - Milligan - Sophomore

  • Averaged 8.88 assists per set.
  • Had 71 assists in 8 sets.
  • Logged 41 assists in a 3-2 loss to Bluefield.
  • Recorded 1 double-double.
  • Also had 17 digs, 3 blocks, 1 kill, and 5 aces.
  • This is her second weekly honor of the season.
