Week 5: AAC Baseball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Bryton Williams of Montreat and Tommy Ramos of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 9.

AAC Pitcher of the Week
Bryton Williams - Montreat - Sophomore

• Tossed a complete-game, 3-hitter in a 12-0 win over Bluefield.
• Stuck out 5 batters and walked none in 7 innings of work.
• This is his first weekly honor this season.

AAC Player of the Week
Tommy Ramos - Montreat - Senior

• Batted .583 in helping Montreat go 3-0 on the week.
• Hammered 4 times, while driving in 9 runs and scoring 6 times.
• Had a 1.667 slugging percentage.
• This is his first weekly award this season.
