Week 2: AAC Football Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Jackson Wasik of Kentucky Christian is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, while JaTarius Randolph of Kentucky Christian and Messiah Wilson of Point are the Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the second edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Sept. 15.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
JaTarius Randolph - Kentucky Christian - Freshman
- Returned an interception 68 yards for a touchdown to seal a 41-20 win over NCAA Division III Brevard (N.C.).
- Recorded 4 tackles.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Jackson Wasik - Kentucky Christian - Sophomore
- Passed for 229 yard and 3 touchdowns in a 41-20, come-from-behind win over NCAA Division III Brevard (N.C.).
- Also rushed for 67 yards and another touchdown on 13 carries.
- Completed 71 percent (22 of 31) of his passes.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Messiah Wilson - Point - Freshman
- Returned a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown.
- Returned 6 kicks for 161 yards for an average of 26.8 yards per return.
- Returned 1 punt for 5 yards.
- Also caught 2 passes for 19 yards.
- This is his first weekly honor of the season.
