Week 14: AAC Men's Basketball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Omari Joseph of Truett McConnell and Elijah Bredwood of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the 14th and final edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. 

AAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Omari Joseph - Truett McConnell

• Swatted 9 shots away in 2 games.
• 14 of his 18 rebounds were on the defensive end.
• Averaged 7.0 points per game and dished out 2 assists.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Elijah Bredwood - Milligan - Senior

• Averaged 33.8 points per game as Milligan went 2-2 on the week.
• Poured in a school-record 54 points in a 101-92 win over Tennessee Wesleyan.
• Went 22-of-24 (91.7 percent) from the foul line.
• Scored 135 points during the week.
• Averaged 8.5 rebounds per game.
• Also had 13 assists and 7 steals.
• This is his second weekly honor of the season.
