Cumberlands' Kava Scores NAIA Offensive Player of the Week Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. –  Nick Kava of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week are selected based on performances from April 14-20 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Nick Kava, Cumberlands (Ky.) - SR - Midfielder

• Kava had a career week for the Patriots in the AAC Quarterfinals, setting multiple records.
• The Hoschton, Ga., native set new program records in assists (7), points (12).
• He also climbed in the career points standings at Cumberlands (Ky.) with 179, which places him in third.
