Cumberlands, Keiser Advance to Men's Lacrosse Championship Game

MARIETTA, Ga. - The lower seeds reigned supreme on Friday as No. 4 Cumberlands and No. 3 Keiser won their semifinal showdowns in the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Tournament.

The semifinal and championship rounds are being played at Lupo Family Field on the campus of Life in Marietta, Ga.

Cumberlands opened the day with a 12-5 win over No. 1 seed Webber International. The Patriots outscored the Warrirors 4-0 in the first and never looked back. Cumberlands sealed the win with a five-goal fourth.

Nick Kava led Cumberlands with four goals, while Maalek Wilson added two goals and an assist. Evan Barton helped out with a goal and two assists.

Keiser clung to a 6-5 lead at the half but exploded for eight goals in the third to break the game open en route to the 17-8 decision. Ryan Stowell tallied four goals and an assist for the Seahawks, while JP Prather collected four goals. 

Keiser and Cumberlands will square off for the tournament title on Saturday at 1 p.m.
