Week 8: AAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Euan Brindley of Truett McConnell and Kerim Akpinar of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

This is the eighth edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 20.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Euan Brindley - Truett McConnell - Sophomore 

• Recorded 2 wins and made 6 saves.
• Allowed 1 goal and made 3 saves in a 2-1 win at Milligan.
• Posted a shutout and had 3 saves in a win over Columbia International.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Kerim Akpinar - Milligan - Junior 

• Had 4 goals and 1 assist in helping Milligan to a 2-1 record on the week.
• Posted 2 goals and dished out an assist in a 3-1 win over Montreat.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.
