Men's Soccer Tournament Bracket Released; Union Earns Top Seed

WALESKA, Ga. - The 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Soccer Tournament bracket is set, and Union Commonwealth is the No. 1 seed.

Union Commonwealth is the regular-season champion with a 9-0-3 league record. By virtue of winning the regular-season title, Union Commonwealth also punched its ticket to the NAIA National Championship Tournament.

The tournament winner will also receive an automatic berth to the national tournament. If Union Commonwealth wins that as well, the second bid will go to the tournament runner-up.

In all, eight teams advanced to the tournament, which gets underway on Friday, Oct. 31.

Here are the seeds for the tournament:

  1. Union Commonwealth (10-2-4, 9-0-3 AAC) - 30 points
  2. Milligan (9-5-2, 8-3-1 AAC) - 25 points
  3. Truett McConnell (9-4-3, 7-2-3 AAC) - 24 points*
  4. Pikeville (9-5-3, 7-2-3 AAC) - 24 points*
  5. Tennessee Wesleyan (8-7-1, 7-4-1 AAC) - 22 points
  6. Columbia (6-6-4, 4-4-4 AAC) - 16 points**
  7. Reinhardt (5-8-2, 5-6-1 AAC) - 16 points**
  8. Spartanburg Methodist (4-7-4, 4-5-3 AAC) - 15 points

*-Truett McConnell and Pikeville tied 0-0 during the regular season, but Truett McConnell earned the No. 3 seed based on goal differential with an 18-7 edge over Pikeville
**-Columbia defeated Reinhardt 3-0 during the regular season to earn the No. 6 seed

Game 3 - No. 7 Reinhardt (5-8-2) at No. 2 Milligan (9-5-2), 4 pm
Game 4 - No. 6 Columbia (6-6-4) at No. 3 Truett McConnell (9-4-3), 6 pm
