Week 5: AAC Men's Swimmer of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Carmine Bernardo of WVU Tech is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week.

The league announced the award on Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 19.

AAC Men's Swimmer of the Week
Carmine Bernardo - WVU Tech - Sophomore

• Hit a pair of NAIA 'B' Cuts.
• Won the 200 butterfly in 1:52.33 for a 'B' cut.
• Was third in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:41.34 for another 'B' cut.
• This is his third weekly honor of the season.
