Milligan Secures Sixth Men's Swimming Title in a Row
KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Milligan won its sixth consecutive Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Swimming Championship, finishing with 1,041 total points.
The three-day event was held in Kingsport, Tenn., at the Kingsport Aquatic Center in the HMG Competition Pool.
Rounding out the team scores, Tennessee Souther finished second with 518 points, WVU Tech third with 418 points, Columbia fourth with 262 points, and Pikeville fifth with 192 points.
Milligan set the meet record for most points (1,041) and largest margin of victory (523).
Caleb Fry of Milligan is the Men's Swimmer of the Meet, Christoph Haenel of Milligan is the Men's Freshman of the Year, and Elijah Holliman of Milligan is the Newcomer of the Year. Robyn Roszel of Milligan is the Coach of the Year.
Holliman collected the lone meet record of the day, winning the 200 breaststroke in 1:59.88.

- 1650 freestyle - Peter Gilbert (Milligan), 16:32.85
- 200 backstroke - Paxton Smith (Milligan), 1:52.23
- 100 freestyle - Fry (Milligan), 45.72
- 200 butterfly - Haenel (Milligan), 1:50.01
- 400 freestyle relay - Milligan (Smith, Gellert Szedlak, Haenel, Fry), 3:04.88
