Men's Tennis Awards Announced

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Tennis All-Conference Team and awards were announced on Thursday, and Octavio Volpi of Tennessee Wesleyan is the Player of the Year. 

The awards were voted and selected by the men's tennis coaches of the AAC.

Also receiving individual accolades were Joewyn Pacua of SCAD Atlanta as the Freshman of the Year and Francisco Gallardo of Tennessee Wesleyan as the Coach of the Year. Tennessee Wesleyan was also awarded the regular-season trophy and banner.

In all, 10 were named to the All-AAC first team, six to the second team, and eight to the All-Freshmen Team.

Eight were named to the Champions of Character Team, with dozens making the All-Academic Team.
