Men's Tennis Awards Announced

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Tennis All-Conference Team and awards were announced on Monday, and Lucas Grana of Tennessee Wesleyan is the Player of the Year. 

The awards were voted and selected by the men's tennis coaches of the AAC.

Grana was also named the Newcomer of the Year. Also receiving individual accolades were Santiago Russo of Tennessee Wesleyan as the Freshman of the Year and Francisco Gallardo of Tennessee Wesleyan as the Coach of the Year. Tennessee Wesleyan was also awarded the regular-season trophy and banner.

In all, 10 were named to the All-AAC first team and five to the second team.

Seven were named to the Champions of Character Team, with dozens making the All-Academic Team.
