Week 5: AAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Ryan Stade of Montreat and Cameron Montgomery of Columbia International are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Feb. 16.
AAC Track Athlete of the Week
Ryan Stade - Montreat - Senior
- Posted an NAIA 'A' Standard as he won the 5000 at the Camel City Distance.
- Posted a time of 14:10.52.
- Helped the DMR team record an NAIA 'A' Standard, as he ran the anchor leg.
- Finished fourth with a time of 9:59.13.
- This is his second weekly honor this season.
AAC Field Athletes of the Week
Cameron Montgomery - Columbia International - Junior
- Registered an NAIA 'B' Standard in the shot with a throw of 16.13 meters, placing him third at the Visit Gainesville Indoor Classic.
- Also finished fifth in the weight throw with a toss of 15.82 meters.
- This is his second weekly award this season.
