Week 6: AAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Nathan Cremin of Montreat and Cameron Montgomery of Columbia International are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the sixth and final edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season.
AAC Track Athlete of the Week
Nathan Cremin - Montreat - Junior
- Posted two NAIA 'A' Standards at the Tryon Mid-Winter Collegiate Invite.
- Won the 600 with a time of 1:18.90.
- Posted a time of 1:48.30 to win the 800.
- Ran the second-fastest 800m time in NAIA men's indoor history and the quickest since 1996.
- Ran the third-fastest 600m in the NAIA this season
- This is his second weekly honor this season.
AAC Field Athletes of the Week
Cameron Montgomery - Columbia International - Junior
- Registered an NAIA 'B' Standard in the shot with a throw of 16.01 meters, winning the event at the NCCAA Indoor National Championships.
- Also finished second in the weight throw with a toss of 15.97 meters.
- This is his third weekly award this season.
