Four More Records Fall on Day 2 of Outdoor Track & Field Championships

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Four more records fell on the second day of the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

The three-day event is held at Tipton Stadium in Johnson City, Tenn.

All four of the records came on the track. Dorde Racic of Columbia set the mark in the men's 5000 racewalk with a time of 23:07.47, and Samatha DeGrace of Tennessee Wesleyan won the women's 100 hurdles with a record time of 14.01 seconds. Bryn Woodall of Milligan set the record in the men's 1500, crossing the line in 3:47.98. In the women's 400, Kamyn Chambliss of Brenau won with a record time of 58.64 seconds.

In the team competition, Milligan leads the pack in the men's field with 98 points. Montreat is second with 85 points, while Reinhardt (80), Tennessee Wesleyan (61), and Truett McConnell (59) round out the top five.

Columbia leads the women's field with 91 points, with Brenau sitting in second with 73 points. Milligan (64), Montreat (62), and Truett McConnell (61) round out the top five.

  • Women's 4x100 relay: Columbia (47.60)
  • Men's 4x100 relay: Reinhardt (40.94)
  • Women's 5000 racewalk: Mina Shull, Columbia (29:48.67)
  • Men's 110 hurdles: Brayden Simpson, Milligan (14.51)
  • Women's 100: Myesha Hall, Truett McConnell (11.85)
  • Men's 100: Elijah Goddard, Truett McConnell (10.35)
  • Women's 1500: Ellen-Mary Kearney, Milligan (4:31.22)
  • Men's 400: Romario Taylor, Milligan (48.09)
  • Women's long jump: Myesha Hall, Truett McConnell (6.05 meters)
  • Women's hammer throw: Grace Jones, Truett McConnell (47.36 meters)
  • Women's pole vault: Keri Belcher, Milligan (3.05 meters)
  • Men's hammer throw: Andrew Paolozzi, Reinhardt (52.86 meters)
  • Men's long jump: Armoni Hicks, Tennessee Wesleyan (7.30 meters)
  • Men's pole vault: Nicholas Ortiz, Columbia International (4.05 meters)
