Week 4: AAC Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Romeo Brown of Spartanburg Methodist and Ethan Rice of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 13.
AAC Track Athlete of the Week
Romeo Brown - Spartanburg Methodist - Junior
- Collected 2 individual wins and helped the 4x100 relay team to a victory at the Tornado Classic.
- Posted winning times of 10.45 in the 100 and 21.64 in the 200.
- Set a meet record in the 100.
- Helped the 4x100 relay team win in 41.35
- This is his second weekly honor this season.
AAC Field Athletes of the Week
Ethan Rice - Reinhardt
- Won the javelin at the Emory-Dooley Meet.
- Recorded a throw of 60.61 meters.
- Achieved an NAIA 'B' Standard in the event.
- Ranks first in the AAC and eighth in the NAIA in the event.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
