Three Represent AAC on NAIA Men's Volleyball All-America Team
WALESKA, Ga. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) placed three players on the 2025 NAIA Men's Volleyball All-America Team, the national office announced on Thursday.
All three honorees are from St. Thomas. Kaelen Ingram and Gabriel Negrao made the second team, while Matheus Collares earned third-team honors.
Ingram, the AAC Player of the Year, tied for the lead in the NAIA in kills per set at 4.41. He led the AAC in kills per set, total kills (388), and hitting percentage (.410). Ingram also amassed 110 digs and 46 total blocks.
Negrao, the AAC Freshman of the Year, was second in the league in kills per set at 3.88, fourth in total kills (303), and third in hitting percentage (.341). He also had 112 digs and 23 total blocks.
Collares, the AAC Setter of the Year, led the NAIA in assists per set at 11.90, which is now the NAIA single-season record. He also collected 153 digs, 22 kills, 16 service aces, and 18 total blocks.
