Week 4: AAC Men's Volleyball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Kaelen Ingram of St. Thomas is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Alex Sanchez of Reinhardt and Rafael Obrusnik of St. Thomas are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the awards for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 2.
AAC Attacker of the Week
Kaelen Ingram - St. Thomas - Graduate Student
- Led St. Thomas to a 3-0 record.
- Averaged 4.0 kills per set and posted a .510 hitting percentage.
- Logged 13 kills and an .545 hitting percentage in a 3-0 win over Life.
- Served up 7 aces on the week.
- Had 28 kills, 12 digs, and 2 blocks.
- This is his second weekly honor of the season.
AAC Defender of the Week
Alex Sanchez - Reinhardt - Senior
- Averaged 3.44 digs per set.
- Had 12 digs in a 3-0 win over Webber.
- Had 31 digs, 5 assists, and 2 aces.
- This is his third weekly honor of the season.
AAC Setter of the Week
Rafael Obrusnik - Junior - St. Thomas
- Averaged 11.14 assists per game.
- Posted 78 assists on the week.
- Recorded a high of 37 assists in a 3-0 win over Life.
- Had 13 digs, 2 kills, and 1 ace.
- This is his second weekly honor of the season.
