Week 6: AAC Men's Volleyball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Mason Lloyd of Bluefield is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Jan Burhardt of Life and Riley Chapman of Life are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the sixth edition of the awards for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 16.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Mason Lloyd - Bluefield - Junior

• Had 18 kills on the week and posted a hitting percentage over .406 in a 3-0 win over NCAA Division II Kentucky State.
• Also had 5 digs and 1 total block.
• This is his first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Jan Burhardt - Life - Freshman

• Averaged 1.75 blocks per set.
• Had 9 total blocks in a 3-1 win over Benedict.
• Recorded 14 total blocks, 17 kills, a .353 hitting percentage, 3 aces, and 9 digs.
• This is his fourth weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Riley Chapman - Life - Graduate Student

• Had 82 assists on the week as Life went 1-1.
• Logged 44 assists in a 3-1 win over Benedict.
• Also had 8 kills, 1 ace, 15 digs, and 4 blocks.
• This is his second weekly honor of the season.
