Week 9: AAC Men's Volleyball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Jakub Aniolczyk of Reinhardt is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Jan Burhardt of Life and Christopher Zambrana of Truett McConnell are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respecitvely.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the ninth edition of the awards for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 6.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Jakub Aniolczyk - Reinhardt - Senior

  • Logged 26 kills and averaged 4.33 kills per set.
  • Posted a .568 hitting percentage.
  • Also had 6 aces, 33 digs, and 5 blocks.
  • This is his first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Jan Burhardt - Life - Freshman

  • Averaged 1.40 blocks per set.
  • Had 7 total blocks and 1 dig in 5 sets.
  • Also had 8 kills and a .500 hitting percentage.
  • This is his fifth weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Christopher Zambrana - Truett McConnell - Sophomore

  • Had 99 assists in 10 sets for a 9.90 average
  • Recorded 37 assists in a sweep of Carolina.
  • Also had 3 kills, 2 aces, and 16 digs.
  • This is his second weekly honor of the season.
