AAC Men's Volleyball Awards Announced

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced the 2026 Men's Volleyball All-AAC Team and Awards on Wednesday, and Kaelen Ingram of St. Thomas is the Player of the Year.

This is the second year in a row Ingram has received the honor.

Also receiving individual accolades are Alex Sanchez of Reinhardt as the Defender of the Year, Rafael Obrusnik of St. Thomas as the Setter of the Year and the Newcomer of the Year, Jan Burhardt of Life as the Middle Blocker of the Year and the Freshman of the Year. Tessa Corrales of Reinhardt is the Coach of the Year, while Ethan Keung of Reinhardt is the Assistant Coach of the Year.

The awards were voted on and selected by the men's volleyball coaches of the AAC.

Fourteen players earned a spot on the All-AAC First Team, with 14 making the second team. Five received Champions of Character Team honors, with several making the All-Academic Team.
