Life Climbs to No. 1; Seven AAC Teams Receive Votes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Life took over the throne as the No. 1 team in the NAIA Men's Wrestling rankings on Jan. 29 behind 261 points. The Running Eagles had 12 individual wrestlers appear in the rankings, with three ranked at No. 2, two ranked at No. 3, and seven individuals within the top five.
In all, seven Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) teams earned votes. After Life, Southeastern and Keiser are also in the top 25 at No. 3 and No. 20. Meanwhile, Reinhardt, Montreat, Brewton-Parker, and St. Thomas also received votes.
All of the top-ranked individuals remained the same from the previous ranking, including Aaron Lucio of Southeastern in the 133-pound class and teammate Andrew Voiles in the 141-pound class. The full list of the individual rankings can be found here, and at the bottom of the page.
