Week 4: AAC Softball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - KP Smith of Bryan and Rylee Walker of Truett McConnell are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 2.
AAC Pitcher of the Week
KP Smith - Bryan - Sophomore
- Went 3-0 on the week, including a win over No. 4 Georgia Gwinnett.
- Posted a 1.33 ERA.
- Struck out 15 and walked 5.
- Tossed a no-hitter in a 1-0 win over Cumberland (Tenn.), striking out 7 and walking 2.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
AAC Player of the Week
Rylee Walker - Truett McConnell - Freshman
- Batted .438 in 5 games, helping Truett McConnell to a 3-2 record.
- 4 of her 7 hits went for extra bases, as she posted a .938 slugging percentage.
- Had 2 doubles and 2 home runs.
- Drove in 9 runs and scored 4 times.
- This is her third weekly award this season.
