Week 5: AAC Softball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Maddie Lee of Bryan and Megan Armstrong of Johnson are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 9.

AAC Pitcher of the Week
Maddie Lee - Bryan - Sophomore

• Tossed a complete-game, 1-hit shutout in a 5-0 win over Columbia.
• Struck out 5 and walked 1 in 7 innings of work.
• This is her first weekly award this season.

AAC Player of the Week
Rylee Walker - Truett McConnell - Freshman

• Batted .600 in 4 games, helping Johnson to a 2-2 record.
• Had 2 doubles and posted a .800 slugging percentage.
• Drove in 9 runs and scored once.
• This is her first weekly award this season.
