Week 8: AAC Softball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Anslie Pettit of Reinhardt and Dayton Power of Brenau are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the eighth edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 30.

AAC Pitcher of the Week
Anslie Pettit - Reinhardt - Junior

• Registered a complete-game no-hitter in a 1-0 win over Columbia International.
• Struck out 6 batters and walked 2 in 11 innings pitched. 
• This is her first weekly award this season.

AAC Player of the Week
Dayton Power - Brenau - Junior

• Batted .647 in 6 games, helping Brenau to a 5-1 record.
• Had only 1 RBI, but scored 13 runs.
• Lined 2 doubles and walked four times in posting a .739 on-base percentage.
• This is her first weekly award this season.
