Week 11: AAC Softball Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Abby Ragan of Columbia International and Jasmine Rachal of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Softball Pitcher Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the 11th edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 20.

AAC Pitcher of the Week
Abby Ragan - Columbia International - Junior

• Went 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 2 appearances on the week.
• Recorded a complete-game shutout in 2-0, 10-inning win over Bryan, as she struck out 11. 
• In a 3-2 loss to Tennessee Wesleyan, pitched 3 innings and allowed no runs on 3 hits and no walks with 5 strikeouts.
• This is her second weekly award this season.

AAC Player of the Week
Jasmine Rachal - Montreat - Senior

• Batted .615 in helping Montreta to a 4-0 record.
• Drove in 10 runs and scored 7 times.
• Had 2 doubles.
• This is her first weekly award this season.
