Week 7: AAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Destinee Lovejoy of Truett McConnell and Semaj Clark of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week.
The league announced the awards on Monday.
This is the seventh edition of the awards for the 2025-26 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Jan. 12.
AAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Destinee Lovejoy - Truett McConnell - Senior
- Recorded a double-double in a 67-58 win over Pikeville.
- 7 of her 10 rebounds were defensive.
- Scored 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
- Also had 1 assist.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Semaj Clark - Milligan - Senior
- Averaged 17.3points and 10.3 rebounds as Milligan went 1-2 last week.
- Netted 24 points in a 93-57 win over Brenau.
- Had 2 double-doubles.
- Also had 31 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 block, and 7 steals.
- This is her fourth weekly honor of the season.
