Milligan, Reinhardt to Meet in Women's Basketball Tournament Title Game

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The 2026 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Basketball Tournament is down to the final two as top-seeded Milligan and No. 3 seed Reinhardt advanced to the championship game.

The tournament is being held at the MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort & Convention Center.

Milligan won a hard-fought battle against No. 4 seed Pikeville, pulling out a 64-61 decision. Semaj Clark nearly had a triple-double with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists.

Meanwhile, Reinhardt outlasted a pesky Spartanburg Methodist squad for a 66-56 win. Audrey Ekoue-Bla hit 4-of-7 from 3-point range in posting a game-high 16 points.

Milligan is going for its second-straight tournament title, while Reinhardt is seeking its first since 2022, when it defeated Milligan for the crown. This is the first time Reinhardt has made the championship game since 2024.

Tipoff is set for 3 pm on Saturday.
