Five AAC Teams Collect Votes in NAIA Women's Lacrosse Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) had five teams receive votes in the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Top 10 Poll, announced by the national office on Wednesday.
Reinhardt leads the way at No. 3 with 86 voting points, while Cumberlands landed at No. 6 with 71 voting points.
Receiving votes are Georgetown (34 voting points), Montreat (16 voting points), and St. Andrews (4 voting points).
Poll Methodology
- The rating committee is comprised of eight raters – two raters per conference/group.
- Each conference/group produces a conference rating from which raters will use to compile their national ballot. Only teams represented on the conference rating are eligible for the national ballot.
- Each rater will submit a top 15 ballot, which will be used to produce the Top 10 national rating and a list of other teams receiving votes.
