Reinhardt, Cumberlands Move Up in NAIA Top 10 Poll; Georgetown Receives Votes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) had three teams receive votes in the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Top 10 Poll, announced by the national office on Wednesday.
Both Reinhardt and Cumberlands continue to climb in the poll with Reinhardt moving up to No 2 and Cumberlands landing at No. 5. Reinhardt received 121 voting points, while Cumberlands picked up 100 voting points.
Meanwhile, Georgetown missed making the top 10 by sevent spots as it received eight voting points.
Poll Methodology
- The rating committee is comprised of eight raters – two raters per conference/group.
- Each conference/group produces a conference rating from which raters will use to compile their national ballot. Only teams represented on the conference rating are eligible for the national ballot.
- Each rater will submit a top 15 ballot, which will be used to produce the Top 10 national rating and a list of other teams receiving votes.
