Three AAC Teams Receive Votes in NAIA Women's Lacrosse Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) had three teams receive votes in the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Top 10 Poll, announced by the national office on Wednesday.
Both Cumberlands and Reinhardt continue to maintain a top-five presence with Cumberland sitting at No. 2 and Reinhardt landing at No. 5. Cumberlands received 107 voting points, while Reinhardt picked up 93 voting points.
Meanwhile, Georgetown missed making the top 10 by five spots as it received 18 voting points.
Poll Methodology
- The rating committee is comprised of eight raters – two raters per conference/group.
- Each conference/group produces a conference rating from which raters will use to compile their national ballot. Only teams represented on the conference rating are eligible for the national ballot.
- Each rater will submit a top 15 ballot, which will be used to produce the Top 10 national rating and a list of other teams receiving votes.
