TWU's Brendlinger Earns NAIA Defensive Player of the Week Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Senior goalkeeper Rylee Brendlinger of Tennessee Wesleyan went 4-0 between the sticks last week, picking up national defensive player of the week honors.

Brendlinger tallied nearly 209 minutes between the sticks last week over the course of four games. The senior made 31 total saves over that time with a 52.5 save percentage, helping her team to a perfect week against New College of Florida (16-9), Warner (Fla.) (17-9), Culver-Stockton (Mo.) (10-7), and UHSP (Mo.) (16-6).

Brendlinger and Co. are back in action on Wednesday, March 11, at home in Athens, Tenn., against Randolph College. Opening draw is set for 1 p.m. ET.
