Truett McConnell Favored to Score No. 4
WALESKA, Ga. - Truett McConnell is expected to win the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer championship, according to the AAC Coaches' Preseason Poll released on Thursday.
The poll was voted on by the women's soccer coaches of the AAC.
Truett McConnell received 11 of the 13 first-place votes to land the top spot with 180 points. The Lady Bears won or shared the last three regular-season and tournament championships.
Tennessee Wesleyan, which shared the 2024 regular-season crown with Truett McConnell, sits second as it received two first-place votes and 169 points. Reinhardt (148 points), Milligan (137 points), and Montreat (109 points) round out the top five.
The 2025 AAC Tournament is set to begin with the opening round games on Oct. 28, with the championship match set for Nov. 8. Ten teams advance to the league tournament.
