Week 6: AAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Ava Wilson of Spartanburg Methodist College and Isabella Hodson of Truett McConnell are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
This is the sixth edition of the awards for the 2025 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Oct. 6.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Ava Wilson - Spartanburg Methodist - Sophomore
- Went 1-0-1 while making 17 saves on the week.
- Had 4 saves in a 3-2 win over Johnson.
- Registered 13 saves in a 0-0 draw against Pikeville.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Isabella Hodson - Truett McConnell - Junior
- Amassed 7 points in helping Truett McConnell to a 6-1 win over Bryan.
- Posted a hat trick and dished out an assist in the win.
- This is her first weekly honor of the season.
