Women's Soccer Tournament Bracket Set; Truett McConnell Earns No. 1 Seed

WALESKA, Ga. - The 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer Tournament bracket is set, and Truett McConnell is the No. 1 seed.

Truett McConnell went 13-0-0 in conference play to win the regular-season championship and earn the No. 1 seed. By virtue of winning the regular-season title, Truett McConnell also punched its ticket to the NAIA National Championship Tournament.

The tournament winner will also receive an automatic berth to the national tournament. If Truett McConnell wins that as well, the second bid will go to the tournament runner-up.

In all, 10 teams advanced to the tournament with play beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

Here are the tournament seeds:

  1. Truett McConnell (16-0-1, 13-0-0 AAC) - 39 points
  2. Tennessee Wesleyan (12-2-0, 11-2-0 AAC) - 33 points
  3. Milligan (10-4-3, 9-3-1 AAC) - 28 points*
  4. Columbia International (12-4-1, 9-3-1 AAC) - 28 points*
  5. Reinhardt (8-5-2, 8-3-2 AAC) - 26 points
  6. Pikeville (9-4-3, 7-4-2 AAC) - 23 points
  7. Brenau (8-7-1, 6-6-1 AAC) - 19 points**
  8. Montreat (7-8-1, 6-6-1 AAC) - 19 points**
  9. Spartanburg Methodist (6-8-4, 3-7-3 AAC) - 12 points***
  10. Johnson (5-10-1, 4-9-0 AAC) - 12 points***

*-Milligan beat CIU 1-0 during the regular season to earn the No. 3 seed
**-Brenau beat Montreat 1-0 during the regular season to earn the No. 7 seed
***-Spartanburg Methodist beat Johnson 3-2 during the regular season to earn the No. 9 seed
