Week 11: AAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week

WALESKA, Ga. - Marison Esparza of Truett McConnell and Lauren Hawkley of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

This is the 11th and final edition of the awards for the 2025 season.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Marisol Esparza - Truett McConnell - Senior 

• Anchored Truett McConnell's backline, which did not allow a shot on goal and only 3 total attempts in the 2-0 win over Montreat in the AAC Tournament.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Lauren Hawkley - Milligan - Junior 

• Contributed on all 3 of Milligan's goals in the 3-2 overtime win against Pikeville.
• Had a brace and an assist.
• Score the equalizer in the 86th minute.
• Assisted on the game-winner in the 97th minute.
• This is her first weekly honor of the season.
